Ready to take your MORTGAGE UNDERWRITING career to the next level? Our client, a fast-scaling, technology-driven mortgage lender, is expanding their lending operations team. We are looking for a Senior Underwriter who blends deep agency expertise with a modern, tech-forward mindset.

Your Impact

As a Senior Underwriter, you won't just be checking boxes. You will:

• Decision a Full Spectrum: Handle FHA, VA, Conforming, USDA, and Bond/Grant programs.

• Be a Subject Matter Expert: Act as a go-to resource for loan officers and processors to help structure complex files.

• Drive Quality: Ensure minimal turn times while maintaining "zero-defect" quality standards.

• Leverage AI: Work within a high-tech ecosystem designed to streamline your workflow and reduce manual "grunt work."

***Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus but not a requirement*****

Job requirements

  • FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) with an active CHUMS ID.

  • VA Supervised Automatic Review (SAR) with an active VA SAR ID.

  • 5+ years of recent mortgage underwriting experience

  • Expertise in AUS systems (DU/LPA) and proficiency in Byte (or similar LOS)

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining a collaborative team player
