About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Encompass Administrator to join our retail residential mortgage lender partner. This role is critical to the efficiency, compliance, and scalability of our loan origination operations. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on Encompass configuration expertise and a strong understanding of the mortgage lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain ICE Mortgage Technology's Encompass LOS including business rules, input forms, loan templates, personas, and custom fields

• Design and manage automated workflows, milestones, and triggers to optimize the loan origination process

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all Encompass-related issues, enhancements, and integrations

• Partner with Operations, Compliance, Secondary Marketing, and IT to translate business requirements into system solutions

• Manage user access, roles, and security settings across the platform

• Oversee third-party integrations including AUS, credit, title, appraisal, and pricing engines

• Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and data integrity protocols

• Lead Encompass upgrades, patches, and testing cycles with minimal disruption to production

• Train and support end users including LOs, processors, underwriters, and closers

• Maintain documentation for all system configurations and change management

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Encompass administration experience in a retail residential mortgage environment

• Deep knowledge of Encompass configuration including SDK, business rules, loan templates, and custom reporting

• Strong understanding of the end-to-end mortgage origination process (conventional, FHA, VA, USDA)

• Experience with URLA, HMDA, TRID, and regulatory compliance requirements within Encompass

• Proficiency with Encompass reporting and data analytics

• Experience managing integrations with third-party vendors and APIs

• ICE Mortgage Technology (Encompass) certification preferred

• Excellent communication skills with ability to work across technical and non-technical teams

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Encompass Developer Connect or API integrations

• Background in process improvement or LOS migrations

• Prior experience in a senior or lead administrator capacity

• 3+ years of Encompass Administrator experience Required

• 3+ years of Mortgage Industry experience Required

• Experience with Optimal Blue, Mavent, Doc Magic, Customer Connect, and TPO Connect Preferred
